Fees & Services Provided

Weddings can be expensive! The wedding industry is big business as no doubt you are discovering. With that in mind, what you pay your officiating clergy is one of the lesser of expenses you will incur. Our fee is $350, which includes an initial consultation and any other necessary consultation throughout the process. It assumes a reasonable driving distance to the destination of where your wedding will take place. It does not include our clergy attending a wedding rehearsal; however, this service can be provided for an additional fee. A $100 deposit secures your date; the balance of $250 is due on the day of the wedding.

Our experience together will include the following:

  1.  PHONE CONTACT: After receiving a notification of your interest, we will personally contact you. During our initial conversation, we will hear more details of your idea of “the perfect wedding” and confirm availability of the date and time of your ceremony.  We will set a time to meet –usually at a local coffee hangout or a place most convenient to you and your fiancé.  I will also confirm an email address to send some sample ceremonies in preparation of our meeting.

  2. FACE-TO-FACE meeting: We will begin by talking about your hopes and dreams for your beautiful day.  We will integrate those ideas with some of the sample ceremonies you have already seen.  By the end of our meeting you will know exactly what will be included in your ceremony so there will be no surprises.  Other details will also be discussed such as what you want me to wear (a shirt and tie, a pastor’s clerical collar, a Hawaiian shirt, or whatever else will blend into the style of your ceremony), and whether you would like me to attend the rehearsal.  Finally, we’ll talk about the marriage certificate (license) –where to get that, how much it costs, etc.

  3. EMAIL: Any adjustments to what decisions were made in our face-to-face meeting can be made through successive emails or other consulting meetings.  Or perhaps you and your loved one wanted more time to consider the perfect wording of the vows you will exchange or you want some last minute idea to be included.  I am happy to accommodate.

  4. DAY OF THE WEDDING: I arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony and introduce myself to your wedding coordinator. I will speak to you and your fiancé separately and see how you are doing and if you have any questions or comments.  I will double check on the rings and make sure the right persons are in possession of them.  I will ask for the wedding certificate (license) since it is my responsibility to acquire signatures and to file it back with the county.  I will provide you with a photo copy that will be mailed to you the week after your ceremony.

Please feel free to contact me, if I may provide for you any additional information.  I find it an honor and a privilege to be part of those beautiful moments when a couple pledges their love to one another.  I would be very excited to be part of your special occasion.  Happy wedding planning!
